PHELPS HELPS 2007 -- A SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

After six successful years the Phelps Grove Neighborhood Association and the Springfield Art Museum is proud to announce our seventh PHELPS HELPS - Summer Concert Series.

What's new this year in our lineup?  LOTS. But, not so fast.

We are so lucky to have Emily Higgins and Tim Burrows return with their incredible acoustic bluegrass/folk music.  Extra exciting is that for half of the concert, Dean Dazey (of Off Ramp) will join her on bass .  It will be a real blast!

Then -- drum roll please -- Mayapple Records artists will be joining us for several concerts! One of the concerts will have three acts. Yes, three for the price of one!! (What price -- it's free!) Finally, we will be saying farewell to summer by filling the park with the jazz sounds of Three 4 Jazz.  How much more can we pack in a FREE concert series.

Feel free to go to the artist's websites (click on artist name) and play audio clips of the the music you will experience.

This charity concert series is intended to entertain our neighbors, and show how much we care about the community in which we live.  Raffles will take place at all of our concerts to help open pocket books to give to well deserved charities.  While the music is free -- we hope you will contribute to the charity (chosen by our performers) and make this an event that will benefit our entire community.

We hope you join our annual Phelps Helps 2007 Summer Concert Series.
